Cold stone my heart is

Icebergs my emotions

You can’t say what I think

My thoughts I share in portions.

Pure truth is what I speak

Lies aren’t meant to survive

Forgiveness isn’t what I seek

But comprehension of my life.

Pain painted on your face

The one I caused with my words

The ice melts, the stone breaks

Seeing tears in your eyes hurts.

Oblivion seems easier than

Awareness that makes you suffer.

But if the silence hides a lie

Then the pain is covered with laughter.

Denial is only the first step

Long way from the acceptation.

But if you love me, that’s all it takes

Close your eyes and scream out the frustration.
