The truth is hidden in the silence,
The words I speak are just a story to tell.
You think you know me, you know who I am,
But it is just an image, lies that I sell.
I tell people what they want to hear.
I make them smile and feed on their happiness.
I know how to listen, I’ll always lend you an ear
To your pain, sadness or a secret to confess.
I wasn’t always the person I am today,
But life taught me to be strong and tough.
I never judge but I try to understand
And I’m giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.
I find reasons to smile in every little thing…
I don’t reopen old wounds, I don’t hold on to pain.
Life’s too short for that, it’s just a blink,
But I’m not letting anyone to hurt me in this game.
